Filipino Sponge

Ingredients

  • 2 egg yolks
  • 15gr sugar
  • 30ml vegetable oil
  • 60ml liquid milk
  • 70gr wheat flour
  • 3gr BP
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1/2 tsp lemon juice
  • 30gr sugar

Method

  • Beat eggs + sugar
  • Put in vegetable oil and liquid milk
  • Add the flour + BP mix well.
  • Add salt mix well.
  • Egg white mixer + lemon juice
  • Add the sugar gradually with the mixer
  • Mix egg white + yolk mixture and stir with a spatula.
  • Pour into a greased mold and sprinkle with tpg.
  • Bake at 180'c -+20min (adjust oven msg).
  • Once cooked, grease with butter and sprinkle with cheese.
  • Serve.
