What is the difference between Lapis Surabaya and Lapis Malang?

Lapis surabaya aka spiku has 2 layers of yellow with an insert of 1 layer of brown in the middle. The poor layer or mandarin layer only has 2 layers, one is brown and the other is yellow.

Malang Layer Material

12 egg yolks (me: medium egg)
3 whole eggs
150 gr sugar
1/2 tsp SP
70 gr low pro wheat flour
20 gr milk powder
160 butter, melted
Additional yellow layer:
10 gr cornstarch
1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Chocolate Coating

10 gr cocoa powder
1/2 tsp chocolate paste (me: blackforest pasta)

How to Make Lapis Malang

1. Mixer eggs, sugar, sp using Stand Mixer MX-100 @mito.id with high speed (me: speed 11 for 8 minutes) until thick and trailing.
2. Lower to the lowest speed, gradually add the flour + milk powder which has been sifted while mixing as long as it is mixed.
3. Stir gently with a spatula to make sure the flour is evenly mixed. Pour in the melted butter, stir until well combined.
4. Divide the dough into 2 equal parts. Yellow layer, add cornstarch + vanilla extract, mix well. Chocolate layer add cocoa powder + cocoa paste, mix well. Pour into a 20x20x4cm tin that has been greased and lined with baking paper.
5. Bake with a temperature of 170C on the fire below for 18 minutes / until cooked (adjust the oven msg2)
6. Grease the chocolate layer with jam/buttercream, stack the yellow layer and press lightly.
